About The Project
Having used Ahmco’s services for a cloakroom and two bathrooms in Harpenden before, our clients knew they could trust us to deliver on their planned spare bedroom conversion. In the latest upgrade to their beautiful home, they wanted to turn the spare bedroom into a grand en-suite for the master bedroom.
To kick off the project, we used our state-of-the-art design software to demonstrate the potential of this huge room. The clients were delighted with the design’s spacious yet homely feel and quickly gave us the green light to begin discussing specific products.
Starting with the bathroom furniture, we chose a fitted Calypso Chiltern cabinet in a Hunter Green finish. This look exudes luxury and perfectly complements the golden detailing throughout the bathroom. We opted for deeper units to ensure the under-mount basins could be fitted. Above the cabinet, a solid marble-effect worktop was installed. Due to its style and practicality, this has become one of our most popular bathroom worktops.
Using a large 1800mm low-profile shower tray and a 1200mm wetroom panel, we designed a huge walk-in shower to match the rest of the bathroom. The two styles of showerhead and storage panel within the wall accommodate all of our client’s showering necessities.
Our stylish design also includes a host of practical additions to maximise the bathroom’s usability. We’ve fully waterproofed the floor using the Impey Waterguard tanking system and implemented an underfloor heating system for those colder days.
The finished product is a timeless, spacious bathroom design with intelligent storage and user-friendly solutions. Delighted with the result, our clients have said the design is beyond what they thought was possible.
